Every year in July, Williams Lake is host to the second largest rodeo and stampede in Canada...only the Calgary Stamped is larger. The Stampede grounds are right beside the highway as you head down Hy 20 towards Bella Coola. When you're in Cariboo Country, you're in the middle of cattle and horse country.more

This resturaunt is small and is owned in a family business. This resturaunt is open 6am to midnight every day and has the best rates for breakfeast, lunch, and dinner. This resturaunt has each facilities such as: smoking and non smoking, and out door service on their patio. The food at this resturaunt is unbelievable you get the fully tummy on what is should be for a really good price.
Favorite Dish: My favourite dish from this restauraunt is the double deluxe burgur with fries. This meal is so good because the burgur is not small like other restauraunts and they load you up with fresh cut fries and after having this meal it makes sure you are tied over till dinner time, with no questions asked.
This night golf is different than any other golf. At this course you ara able to tee off anytime past 10 pm and you are given a glow and the dark piece that is attached to you and go out to play on the course, which the course is lit up with glow and the dark pieces at the tee box and at the flag.
Dress Code: The dress code for this is anything that you find comfortable and warm enough at the night.
Once you reach Vedan Lake, you come to this...the steep road climbing up to Chaunigan Lake...it's well worth the effort. The humorous signs along the way give you some encouragement ;o)) It's about 7km to the top, is quite narrow and passes through some very old growth Douglas fir forest The elevation gain is about 1200 feet.more

In this mall their is anything that you would want. Its not a big mall but anything you desire is probably in the mall. They have restaurants throughout the mall with a Staples attached to it.
What to buy: Sports, clothing, and special needs are found through out the mall. You can find special sports equipment in the stores such as basketball shoes, hockey sticks, golf clubs, etc.
What to pay: The prices are and average unless they are told on a tv commercial.

Heavy loaded loging trucks are a common sight in the Williams Lake area. Hundreds of them can be seen in the course of a day hauling to the various mills in the area. Give them a wide berth on roads, specially on the hills.
Loran "C" (LOng Range Aids to Navigation) is a marine navigation tower located near Riske Creek on Highway 20. Nothing comes close to this unreal landscape of Lava formed valleys where the blue-green waters of the Taseko and Chilko rivers cascade through where they meet to soon form the Chilcotin River. This corridor offers Wild to Mild to Wild River rafting from 1-6 days adventures all based on the River.Over head Hoodoos tower hundreds of feet in the air,...more
