In July 2005, I spent the morning whitewater rafting with Wild Water Adventures on the Kicking Horse River in Yoho National Park. I chose 'The Whitewater Exciter' where we had 1.5 hours fun riding through the rapids on the river! It costs 93 CAD (April 2011) plus taxes to do the trip and includes round transportation from Lake Louise Village. After the whitewater rafting, refreshments are provided at RiverBase Deck and you can purchase a souvenir photo. I thoroughly enjoyed the excursion and it's certainly worth it!
Equipment: You need to have your swimming gear on and bring a towel. Life jackets, helmets, wetsuits, booties, gloves and jackets are provided and a safety briefing takes place before the rafting.
