The Dauphin Museum will give you a very good idea of life in this region of Canada in the early 1900s. This is Joe Robertson. He founded the museum and among his many accomplishments, built the canoe and killed the bears in this photo.

Dauphin Lake
Dauphin Lake is located 10 miles (15 km) east of Dauphin on Highway #20. This is one of the top walleye destinations in southern Manitoba, and also has an excellent stock of northern pike. Carp, sauger, white fish and silver bass are also caught in the lake.
