    We travelled light on our mid-summer trip but there are two things you will need for certain: insect repellent and sun screen. Russ used spray-on repellent, as seen here on the biking bridge over Major Kollock Creek, while I went with a hand-applied lotion for my face, arms and legs. We had no problems with mosquitos at all - unlike 'Richiecdisc' and 'D' during their brief sojurn here (see their 'New Brunswick' page for the gory details!). While we were sitting on the sand of Kellys beach, we did have a bit of a problem with large flies biting our legs - must have been moose-flies or something because they were like houseflies but larger. They were quite slow too, usually their single bite was the last one they would ever make!!

    It goes without saying that you should bring a good camera!
