Western Brook Pond
by Bwana_Brown Three things that really stood out were: the boat trip on the Western Brook Pond inland fjords, touring the Viking settlement and Whale-watching. Of course, just driving around was a pleasure in itself because of the scenery. We saw 6 Moose during our day trips - keep off the roads at night for the same reason! Despite the fantastic scenery and attractions combined with very friendly people, Newfoundland is totally unspoiled. There are no crowds and all amenities are very reasonably priced. Leave a Comment
Directions: Great Northern Peninsula - head north into Gros Morne National Park and keep driving until you hit the northern tip. The roads are excellent.
