Three things that really stood out were: the boat trip on the Western Brook Pond inland fjords, touring the Viking settlement and Whale-watching. Of course, just driving around was a pleasure in itself because of the scenery. We saw 6 Moose during our day trips - keep off the roads at night for the same reason! Despite the fantastic scenery and attractions combined with very friendly people, Newfoundland is totally unspoiled. There are no crowds and all amenities are very reasonably priced.

Corner Brook Stream Trail offers great views, is well maintained, and offers easy access from almost anywhere in town.
