There is not much restaurants at Deer Lake but surprisingly there is a Kentucky Fried Chicken located at the town near to the lake and Trans-Canada Highway. You can have your meals here or at the restaurant of your motel.

Fisherman's Landing Inn is a motel/restaurant establishment located in the heart of Rocky Harbour, right on the waterfront. It is a modern and clean restaurant, and it is also very popular! We actually ended up eating there three separate times, but you have to be careful not to wait for the tourist dinnertime rush or the waits can be long. Just across the road from them is another restaurant, in the Oceanview Hotel. This is a more formal sit-down type dining arrangement but we also quite enjoyed our two meals there when we felt more like lingeing over the meal to discuss our day's adventures over a bottle of wine! I also recommend this place.
Favorite Dish: We ususally tried one of their local seafood dishes, whether it be sole or scallops. They serve a good and hearty meal!
