Flying to Halifax is the best thing to do. From the airport it's a 45 minute drive to most Halifax destinations. The Airport is located at exit 6 of the 102 highway. I prefer to stay on the 102 and go around the city. Leave a Comment

There is an airport in Halifax, so you can fly in. If you're coming in from another Maritime city, the flight is very short and a lot cheaper than if you're coming from outside the Maritimes. the dartmouth-halifax ferry is quick and efficient, running every half hour or so. cheap at only 70 cents for a one way trip, its the easiest way to get from city to city. if you drive from halifax to dartmouth, you have to go out of the way to a toll bridge that is alot more expensive.
