Fiasco. The first thing that comes up in my mind is a total disaster. But this restaurant is totally the contrary. It's a 100% quality place with nice romatic corner and an excellent selection. Entrance is a little hidden; you have to enter through the central building lobby. Only plus points (at a price).

Favorite Dish:
French (no not fries). Real quality food.
Fiasco is a relatively new and trendy restaurant in the downtown/Spring Garden Road area. Not cheap, this is fine dining with an award winning chef on board. Nice atmosphere, smallish restaurant with some intimate settings. Eclectic menu. Not really a place for kids. Superb sauces, rich food, very good service. Not too formal but not casual either. A nice place for a special night out or a romantic dinner for two.
Favorite Dish:
salmon, scallops
Fiasco was one of the best restaurant choices that I have ever made in Halifax. The food was amazing, it is a little more expensive then the average restaurant but you get it back 10 fold in the quality of food. A great choice for a fancy dinner or a romantic evening.
Favorite Dish:
Everything off the menu is great but my favorite is the desert, the creme brulee was fantastic!
