Historic Properties Market: Great patio and food for everyone!

Eating out with kids can sometimes be tricky so that's why we were happy to find the Harbourside Market: Kevin and Alex headed for The Burger Gourmet, while my sister and I got something at The Mad Greek and Pizza Del Forno. There was also a seafood spot that seemed to be very popular and a pub. And the great thing is that after we all got what we wanted - and at a very reasonable price, we all sat together to eat out on the patio by the beautiful Nova Scotia harbour - who could ask for more?!

Favorite Dish: The pizza was really good, didn't taste like fast food pizza at all

Historic Properties Market: Great Summer choice

There are plenty of choices here. It is basically like a high-end cafeteria.

There is a micro brewery here that has great local beer.

You can get fresh fish dishes here too.

This is a place to go in the summer because you can eat oout on table right on the waterfront in the sun.

The food is a little pricey for this style of eatery but it won't break the bank.

hmmm - I love the open market on the waterfront to eat but Salty's downtown is really good also. Then there is the Fyfer and Drum in the Sheriton hotel and casino which is really good also. Actually you cannot really go wrong in restaurants in Halifax they all have their own theme.
the prices vary but the most you will pay for a full meal down on the waterfront market is 20.00 for dinner. Then take it outside and eat it overlooking the water and sea salt air.

Favorite Dish: The open market is just that open. You can go to one area and have juice, beer, etc and go to another for fish n chips, pizza, salmon, lobster, hamburgers, lasagna, spaghetti and then another for cheesecake, salt water taffy, biscotti, creme brule, etc.
