Your Father's Moustache: Lively spot above Spring Garden Road
Your Father's Moustache calls itself the Halifax's Landmark Pub & Eatery. I dropped in at a busy Fridaynight and got a prompt service from one of the many waitresses. The crowd was young, students and alike and some hundred voices were competing. The food from the grill was served fast and had a basic Canadian quallity. Again quantity was more than enough, so I skipped a dessert.
You could easily miss the place, because you have to go up the stairs and from the opposite side of Spring Garden Road Subway and MacDonalds are trying to get there customers too.
There's a rooftop patio, ideal for people watching.
In the weekends there's live music.
Favorite Dish: The 1/2 chicken with the salad was OK.

Favorite Dish: I love the pulled pprk on baquette ....and the chinese chicken salad if I'm watching my carbs ...lol

Your Father's Mustache: Good times with friends!
They have a patio, NTN (network trivia) and also live entertainment. The only think was that the service is pretty slow (although you may notice that almost everyone goes alot slower out East...more about this later!)
Favorite Dish: I had the surf and turf special and it was very good. The only think was that the service is pretty slow (although you may notice that almost everyone goes alot slower out East...more about this later!)
