We had asked about a local place to have lunch downtown in Sydney and were told this was a good sandwich place. It was noon time and the place was full of locals including a lot of girls from a nearby girls school. It's basically a coffee shop but they also served a wide selection of soup and sandwiches. I got a tuna sandwich and a cup of chicken and rice soup which was good. You eat at small round tables in a cute atmosphere and it's right on Charlotte's Street not very far from the historic district. Drinks were a bit on the expensive side but then it is a coffee shop.
Goody's is located within the Cambridge Suites hotel. This place was very busy the day I was there.
The atmosphere, staff and service where great. I really enjoyed my meal with some friends.
Favorite Dish: Sizzling Steak Sandwich
striploin steak charbroiled to your liking. Served on a steak bun with tomato, and sautéed onions and mushrooms
All Goody's dinners served with choice of potato and vegetable.
I got some peppercorn sauce added to mine.
This resturant looks like a very old house that has been converted. It's historic looking from the outside and has plenty of character.
The service and food were great at this place, I am sure you won't go wrong. They have a deck upstairs that is good as well if the weather is cooperating.
I would go here again for sure in the future.
Favorite Dish: Chicken and Bacon Pasta in a white alfredo sauce.
Dine and relax while enjoying a spectacular view of the waterfront.
Favorite Dish: The pizza was different...but delicious!
