    On the south west entrance to Cape Breton Highlands national Park, this old traditionally French town has a historic church, a few museums and a lot of whale watching outfitters.

    One of Mahone Bay's famous 3 wooden churches, St. James is distinguished for its gold exterior. This anglican church was built in 1887, although a small chapel to the same name was erected in 1833.

    Enjoy the Coastline

    The day we were driving from Ingonish to Baddeck it was a little rainy . Even then the scenery of the rugged coastline was truly beautiful . The area is pretty quite in Oct ....a nice relaxing drive.

    The town of Lunenberg is approximately 90 Km from Halifax. It is a beautiful sea resort town. I had lunch with my friend. It was so relaxing, overlooking the ocean.
