The Sandbanks boasts 409 campsites serviced by cmfort stations with hot & cold showers and 140 sites equiped with hydro.

LAKE AVENUE RESORT; 2 min. to the Sandbanks. They have Cottages , Family Campgrounds and Trailer Rentals on beautiful East Lake in Quinte's Isle.

PRESQU"ILE PROVINCIAL PARK: is an expansive wetland reserve made famous for its annual " Waterfowl Weekends", which offer a bird's eye view of lifein the marsh. Stroll along the sandy beaches of Presqu'ile Park.

H.R. FRINK CENTRE; This Conservation area offers numerous trailsthru over 150 hectaresof terrain. Take a more challenging hike up the steep drumlin-a natural feature left by glaciers thousands of yers ago. Explore the Wetland Ecology Boardwalk.

Miscellaneous: VANDERWATER CONSERVATION AREA: Popular for cross-country skiing and hiking. From picnic sites along the Moira River, visitors can view the unique limestone "steps" over which the river tumbles.

LAKE-ON-THE-MOUNTAIN: Is subject of myths and legends. It is a picturesque but unusual location of 61 metres(200ft) above the waters of the Bay of Quinte. You take in one of the most panoramic views in Southern Ontario here -BY FAR MY FAVOURITE PLACE OF THAT "PEACEFUL, EASY FEELING".
