Well! One might go off fishing of course! I've heard fish stories over the years, but after being at Big Trout Lake, well, that says it all! and no kidding either! They are certainly BIG! The scenery is just as incredible as the fishing! Mere words could not explain it. It's not the Rockies, nor is it New York City, but it has something really wonderful to experience. Of course, you would hav eto time your trip right. The black flies can be devils in summer, and the cold can be worse in winter, but if you arrive at the right time of year... you are in for some serious fishing. the locals here are Oji-Cree and have a very interesting culture. Most of the people I have met here over the past year are really good people. This has certainly been an experience I never thought I'd have, but, I'm a small town boy anyways... soon to be heading back to the BIG city... BUT, don't let any of that spook ya!
