Cobourg is known for its brilliant waterfront festival, it starts every Canada Day, there is a parade, craft tents, art tents, and a carnival of the pier.
People come from all over to enjoy the Festival, some come by boats from the U.S....
Also, concerts in the park, mostly all day there is something going on somewhere!!

Around the time when all homes are lighting there Christmas lights, Cobourg enjoys the same together. The entire community typically meets up at Victoria Hall and walks down to Victoria park, which is down the street, carrying candles and singing Christmas carols. Once everyone arrives they countdown and all of the park lights up with the beautiful display arranged that year. Every Christmas season you can see bus tours going through the streets to show off our display, and it is truly beautiful. During the waterfront festival in July, Cobourg is very alive. There are thousands of people at the waterfront and there is always something going on down there. There is a theme park/carnival on the pear, where people can go to play games or go on rides. Then there is also live music at the bandshell in Victoria Park. Every year Cobourg's Victoria Hall Concert Hall hosts a number of theatrical productions. People from all around come to witness Cobourgs fine actors. This year you will be able to see The Wizard of Oz. If you are going to travel to Cobourg at any time of year you should come at the beginning of July where we hold our annual Waterfront Festival. There are things to do for everyone. There are many tents filled with local art, a midway with rides, little vendors where you can buy clothing or things to eat. And on July 1 we have a firework display. You shouldnt miss it. If you're coming from the states or anywhere in the area you can drive your boat and park it in the harbour for the weekend. Leave a Comment

If your coming to Cobourg during the summer you have to visit the beautiful water front. You can relax on the beach and if you haev an RV or trailor, or even a tent, u can rent a camp site located right on the beach! If you are planning on visiting during the July 1st weekend be sure to stop by for the annual waterfront festival.
