The Fiery Grill is an amazing restuarant located by the bridge in dorset. They serve anything from pizza to full class steak ribs, southern food etc. The patio is right by the water and is a good place to spend the afternoon. For anyone interested in dropping by their open Wendesday 11-8pm, Thursday 11-8pm, Friday 11-9pm, Saturday 11-9pm and Sundays 11-8pm.

Zachary's: Great for the locals, and tourists

by CdnJane Written Aug 27, 2006

Zachary's is well known to the locals as a good place for coffee and a muffin, or a tea biscuit, or a cooked breakfast. They serve lunch and dinner/supper too, but I've only had the experience of the breakfast. I was there with friends who have been regulars, and it was fun to be where the owner and staff are friendly, and fun to chat with. To go into the building you know you are where they cater to not just the ablebodied, but also those who find steps difficult to go up. The other side of the restaurant, is the water side, and you look out onto the Lake of Bays, and when I was there, the sun was shining, and it was lovely out there.

Favorite Dish: I had the 1 egg easy-over, with bacon and brown toast, and coffee for $5.25. They also offered huge pancakes (flapjacks), french toast, and several other combinations of eggs. My mother had a lovely blueberry muffin, and one of our friends had the rain tea-biscuit, and all were very happy with their selection. Just the right amount of food. The coffee was good too.
