The Sunday Market is not far from town. There is a flea market component, which you may or may not find charming. However, you'll also find fresh fruity and vegetables in abundance, at low prices. Many butcher stalls will offer sausage, breads, etc. The Mennonites sometimes have a stall here as well, selling truly amazing sausages and salamis. Lastly, there is a sizeable used record shop, for vinyl collectors to scour seeking something interesting. A good way to pass a few hours on a Sunday morning.

Not the best beach in the area, but it is publicly accessible, whereas some of the ones further north are private. The water in Nottawasaga Bay is quite warm in the summer and makes for good swimming, provided there aren't any health advisories. Parking, an ice cream shop and a mix of rocks and sand make it a worthwhile stop if you're in the area and the throngs at Wasaga Beach don't appeal to you.
