I'm not making fun, it's just the idea is funny. The youth have a difficult time enjoying the activities that other kids in Canada do. Disco, or clubbing is just not done.
The kids spend a great deal of time wandering about, or gathering in each other's home, or going to the community centre. A basic life, tough for the youth. Not many distractions. Thank goodness for MTV.
Dress Code: Jeans, runners, t-shirts, denim jackets, and of course the required baseball cap.

The native people have a certain sense of humour. They tend to see things around them with a clarity that others don't. They often poke fun at themselves, with much tongue-in-cheek humour. A dry wit.

If you live where it is hot and muggy in the summer, then summers here might be a treat. However, you will be plagued by mosquitoes, flies, and especially the dreaded black flies. These little suckers have been known to drive a sane man nuts. They swarm, like a cloud around your head, and each breath you take, is like a crazy carpet ride for these beggers.
