A visit to the beautiful town of Port Dover on the shores of Lake Erie is essential. Whilst there you must try some of the famous Port Dover perch. If you like fish, you will love this - I paid a second visit to Port Dover just to eat some more. This photo shows the shore of Lake Erie at Port Dover. Please view separate travelogue on Port Dover page.

Visit the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum at Hamilton Airport. Here you can see an assortment of aircraft, including Second World War fighter planes. Here I am standing in front of a Royal Canadian Air Force plane.

The 'rail trails' that cross the heart of the city. Ride your bike or walk (a long walk) from the east mountain to downtown, or west mountain to downtown surrounded by beautiful scenery, and nature. There are also some excellent views of the city at different points along the trails.

The trails leading to Tew's Falls displayed a wide variety of beautiful and unusual wild flowers. The children tried their best to identify them.
