Our bus tickets by Redlats I will give you both our and our son's experiences. First, for a proper London area vacation you need a vehicle. Sure there is lots to do downtown - pubs, restaurants, churches, museums, parks and the like. For all these things, we walked from our downtown accommodations. But London is a sprawling city - so for many things you need wheels. Also, within 90 minutes of London is many attractions worth visiting - Hamilton, Niagara Falls, Stratford, the Shaw Festival, beaches on Lake Huron, beaches on Lake Erie, etc. For all that you need a car. For a couple of our outings, our son needed his vehicle, so we used the city bus. Tickets are around $2 and service was OK. All the schedules etc. are on the internet, so we were able to plan appropriately. By the way, on our trip home, we had to take a taxi from downtown London to the airport. The taxi was $25, (which seemed expensive to me as London is not that big), but there is no other way (bus, etc.) to get to the airport that we know of. We flew to London - non stop from Winnipeg on WestJet. Was great. To fly on Air Canada typically you hopscotch to Toronto, then fly on from there. My son went on a holiday to Washington DC. As he went by himself, he decided to go by rail. There is a VIA Rail station in London with connections to Niagara Falls. From there he had to cross the US border on foot and took Amtrak to DC. He said it went well. Leave a Comment Theme: Other

Via Rail Train Station by LoriPori The London, Ontario Railway Station, on the south end of the city centre, is a major interchange for VIA RAIL trains running from Toronto west to Sarnia and Windsor. The station connects to local public transit bus services. The building is large, modern and wheelchair-accessible. Leave a Comment

by car, train or just fly in... AirOntario and Northwestern Airlines fly to Toronto and Detroit as well as other cities in Ontario several times a day. By car, right between Toronto and Windsor on Highway 401, u got 3 exits to choose from ( Airport Rd. , Highbury Ave. and Wellington Rd.) Via Rail offers service to London from Toronto several times a day... twice a day Amtrak offers a service stopping in London coming from Detroit and Chicago. easiest by car... quite adventurous and funny by bus =) Leave a Comment Theme: Train

You can pretty much get to London by any means of travel. There's an airport, train station, bus station and it's right on a major highway, the 401. London International Airport Train Station Bus London has a bus system, but it doesn't operate late. Okay for getting around during the day but can take you a while. Best option is a car, it's easy to drive around London. Can get from one end to the other in about 20 minutes. You can always get a cab as well. Leave a Comment Theme: Train
