Port Stanley

Located about a half hour drive south of London on Lake Erie. This small town has an amazing beach and there’s lots of lovely shops for browsing in and spending all your money. I really like it though in the fall when the leaves have changed and the drive down is gorgeous.

Grand Bend

This is the place to party in the summer. Located about an hour’s drive from London on Lake Huron. The beach itself isn’t anything to write home about, but it’s the party atmosphere that makes this town come alive. People go here to play volleyball on the beach, drink at the local establishments and generally just misbehave. It’s all good fun though! Though finding a place to park can be a major hassle as so many people descend on this place at one time.

Elora Gorge, In Elora Ontario
Its a very small town with a very big tourist clientel. There are many small shops to browse in. There is a hiking trail along the gorge to enjoy. There is camping facilities, and areas for picnics. Elora Gorge is nestled in Mid Western Ontario. Lovely place to visit while your here.

If you are ever in London, Ontario a short drive away you will find a town called Sparta and the place in the picture is where they make the best candles as well as many antiques fudge etc. Visit and you will appreciate the hospitality of the staff. Across diagonally is a good place to eat when you finished shopping. In the picture are my friends who were visiting from Cyprus last August.
