    This is a really wonderful restaurant in Markham. Like many Japanese restaurants, the diner has a choice of sitting at regular tables or those where the food is cooked in front of you. To me, that is the whole fun. I love bringing visitors there.

    Frankie Tomatto is a huge and wonderful buffet restaurant. The food is chiefly Italian and extremely tasty. Each eating room is ornate. I cannot give you an exact amount for the price, as the buffet changes its price fluctuates dramatically depending when you visit. The best value is a week day lunch.

    I personally, like their spicy sausages.

    It is not easy to describe this restaurant. Words cannot truly explain it because It must be seen to be believed. In simple words, the buffet is HUGE. Even if you are picky, there will be a huge selection. The soup alone, there is usually four flavors to choose from. There is 2 really long tables with choices of food on each side. The perimeter of the buffet room is also almost complete with food.

    I once had visitors from another country. I took them to Mandarin. They wanted to keep coming back to Mandarin again and again. According to them, where they live, there is no buffet that comes anywhere even close to comparing with this one. They were stunned when they saw this buffet! Try it for yourself and see!

    It is not just the quantity, but the quality too. I find the food excellent and tasty and an extremely high standard. I have been to many buffets where food is not this standard.

    It is not easy to name a favorite dish from such a huge and tasty buffet. One section I do enjoy is the side grill where a staff member slices the tasty meat for you.

    I know for certain that I enjoy the Clam Chowder soup. I had that soup Finch and Dufferin brancy but did not see it at their branch by Woodbine north of Steeles. Maybe since then, availability at each branch has changed?
