 | Niagara Falls Nightlife | Tips 41 - 47 of 47 | | Popular Nightlife | Other Nightlife Tips | All Tips (47) Night life in Niagara Falls is busy, crowdy, noisy. Well, I like it. My friend and I quite forgot about such life after having own families and responsibilities, so we decided to shake ourselves a little with visiting a local night club. There are many night clubs, bars and restaurants, which I believe are always busy. Long lines were at the entrances to many of them. Because we wanted to rush into night life without any waiting we walked into the first night club we found that didn't have a line. It was Mardi Gras. At this point I am afraid I will sound as a bluestocking, because although the club had everything the club has to have: good music, a lot of beer, outside patio with bar tables, quick service and strong LARGE security guys, I hated a lot of smoke on the dance floor that prevented from breathing, I was tired of the constant inappropriate touches from drunk guys around who barely reached their 20s and hardly stayed on their feet. Apparently, club's advertisement pronouncing "clubbing has never been so sexually extreme" carries the truth. I guess I am getting old. I think if you are your early 20s, you are the girl who doesn't mind to have a sexual extreme with unknown person, you drink a lot, can survive smoke and don't care at all where to go and what to do, Mardi Gras will be ok for you. We had a great time at this club...some of the guys were creepy, but I guess you can get that anywhere. The dance floor was small, and really sticky, but that didn't stop us from dancing. Because you can smoke in doors anywhere in Canada we had to spend a lot of time in the smoking room for my friend. Its like a hallway lined with mirrors and filled with smoke. If you can breathe it for a little bit, you can actually converse with people in there. We met some REAL interesting characters there.

This is a comfortable place with a propper Pub feel to it. When we went a live band was playing who I thought were great. The Paul Antonio Band. Very good indeed. Check out the website with a live webcam.

Live music, no cover...laid back and chill..a big mansion, they use the main floor...feels like you might be in an big old hotel but the rooms are gutted and filled with pool tables, a stage (or part of ploor which is one)...quasi/impromptu dance floor, sitting area and bar, and outdoor back patio....heated for the smokers.
Jeans and a tshirt....very laid back place....could be spiffier (if going somewhere else) and still fit in...bar clothes basically.
