Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Expect to get wet around the falls!!! There is lots of mist around the falls. I wore these leather flip flops one day because there were red and sparkly...be mistake. I had big sores on the side of my feet. Sensible shoes!!!
Miscellaneous: Bring Cash...or at least don't rely on ATM's! My friend (***) came with only $19 and expected to easily get the rest of an ATM. Well apparentally the MasterCard commercials are right...CANANA does not like VISA! But if you to this 7/11 on Ferry St. you can get money out. If you're a smoker...don't expect to find American cigs up north. The warnings have pictures and are much scarier!!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Comfortable walking shoes are key. It's a vast area if you plant to cover it by foot. There is a reason Clifton Hill is called Clifton HILL
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: The usual items will suffice.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Rain poncho for seeing the Falls up close
Miscellaneous: You should bring your own beer with you if you want some for the room. Canadian customs allow you to bring in 24 cans of beer across the border. The Beer Store will gladly sell you a case for $36 if you forget.

Photo Equipment: If you decide to go on the "Maid of the Mist" or the "Journey Behind the Falls", I would bring a disposable waterproof camera. Your camera WILL get wet!
I brought my video camera and had put it in a custom camera bag which kept the camera dry. I got some great shots of the falls. There was a lot of spray so I had to clear the lense area a lot!

Luggage and bags: Be sure to bring a backpack with you. You will probably want to take many photos, and some of the attractions involve water, so you don't want to be holding things that will get wet.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Running shoes are a must! I wore sandals one year, my feet were hurting so bad!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: We did a lot of walking around Niagara. There are buses you can take but we wanted to enjoy the walk along the falls.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Obviously vast quantities of water pass over Niagara Falls & if the wind is blowing your way, the spray will soak you like heavy drizzle.
