Favorite thing: This store the Shopper's Drug Mart is a well known Canadian drug store chain but this one has a beautiful building , and as it turned out many of the buildings in Niagara on the Lake were restore to the old look of many years ago Very nice indeed.
An unusual building in Niagara-on-the-Lake, on the corner of Queen and King Streets, is the Niagara Apothecary. It is one of the longest operating drug stores in Canada until it closed in l964, and it has celebrated it's 30th Anniversary as a museum of Canadian pharmaceutical history.
It was founded in 1820. On the shelves lining the walls are original glass and ceramic containers, some dating back to the 1830's.
Admission is free, and donations are welcome. The Apothecary is owned by the Ontario Heritage Foundation.
Open Mid May - Labour Day. Noon to 6 p.m.

Favorite thing: In the center of Queen Street, stands the CLOCK TOWER CENOTAPH, erected as a memorial monument to the town's 10 fallen soldiers in World War I.
Favorite thing: This is pretty amazing ,a small Cenotaph located in the middle of the main street , but beautiful and very accessible as you will see in the next picture ,a busy place for a Cenotaph .
Favorite thing: As you can see there is this beautiful sign outside this Church explaining the History of this Church.
Just like the Shopper's Drug Mart ,this building is also build in the old style ,but the buildings were just recently build.
Very nice looking buildings.
