Horse & Carriage Tour, Niagara-on-the-Lake

Although we didn’t take a carriage tour this time, I think it would be a fun thing to do, depending on the situation. The horse-drawn carriages are original, very well maintained, and the horses well cared for. If you’re planning a special outing, a romantic evening, or an unusual way to see the sights at Niagara-on-the-Lake, this would be a great option.

Prices range from $50 for a 30 minute ride to $90 for an hour, but special pricing is available on request. Queens Royal Tours also offers wedding packages and corporate tours.

Sightseeing by Horse-drawn Carriage

One of the nice ways to tour and get off the main streets of Niagara-on-the-Lake, while learning history is to take a horse-drawn carriage ride. We started and stopped our ride by The Prince of Wales Hotel, and our tourguide was very knowledgable, and friendly. It was interesting learning about the different buildings, churches, properties while slowly plodding along.
Unfortunately, I don't recall the price and/or whether it was very expensive. I know that we felt that we got our money's worth.
The driver also recommended a couple of places to eat and/or drink.

Q:  Hi What place at Niagra on the lake or even Niagara Falls would have a nice view of sunrise? Thank you in advance.

A: Well, NOTL is on the shore of Lake Ontario and faces North, so I don't think that will do you much good. The Canadian side of the Falls faces East and there are some...
