my escape from the world: kitchen de casa

by kenHuocj Written May 24, 2014

    it's the private one,
Saw the pieces in the ethnic butchery, not to fatty and around the corner were plain redskin peanuts, the ideal comfort food. who need Momofuku in NYC or Toronto. I fine tasty meals, skimmed off the excess fat, and the last morsel last night was sure good for the crusty rice.

A weekly 1 cup of mung beans, some for sprouting, i eat the when the white roots are in the early stages, probably more nutritious compared to the long white ones in the supermarket.
After the overnight soak, with some dried Chan Pei - tangerine skin, it is boiled into a sweet congee, cooling for the body system.

My Ramen was simple home lunch, chives from the garden, called the alternative to Ramps.

Favorite Dish: Pork Belly with resuscitated dried oysters and black moss, steamed till it melts in the mouth.

Trotters cooked and prepared for a salad, or with Black vinegar and Ginger.
As summer is back, Noodles with julienned veggies and sesame sauce is refreshing.

Silken Tofu, plain and simply steamed with a dribbling of sy, sesame seed oil and sprinkling of chopped green onions

Salmon head with dried bean curd, mushrooms, fun see and fermented red bean curd sauce casserole

    and more

ready for a healthy snack or into the salad what is it, being braised note the peanuts, tangerine skin and star anise Mung Beans after an overnight soak Ramen, Chives and soft boiled egg - ala ken
