City Tours/Bus Tours, Ottawa
It is a great idea to take the city tour in a double decker bus to get your feet wet and then decide what you want to see in more detail.
I also recommend getting on the upper deck if the weather is good to get lots of great pictures!

If you are hungry for some exhilarating experience, look no further. Within the National Capital region, you will find this very unique transportation called Lady Dive Tours. This is a bus which can also go on water (Ottawa River) it is a fascinating machine with rather bizarre shapes.
As you see on this image, it has wheel, but it also has marine engines as well. It is often called an Omnibus. You can spot this boat / bus omni-thing from a mile away due to its unusual shape and color. It is red with white and silver decorations, stickers and phone numbers on its side. While riding / sailing on the Lady Dive, the crew is providing an exciting Sight seeing tour on Land and Water. Services are bilingual, English and French. You can often see this bus parked at Elgin St, near Wellington Street. Not far from the Parliament Hill.
Lady Dive is a one of a kind experience in Ottawa.
Take a boat tour of the Ottawa River. Beautiful little islands, charming cottages, nice vies of the Parliament hill and Chateau Laurier from the water. Get to know how some people live around this area.
As a bus, it makes the tour of the main buildings of the town. Then, it crosses the Ottawa River to go to Hull where it dives in the River to show a beautiful view of the Parliament Hill and to approach the Rideau Fall.
Once we got into the city centre we only had 2 hours left so we decided that the best way to see the most of the city was to take one of those bus tours. We drove past all the major sights and got information about them at the same time. It was perfect. We still ended up being short of time so we got off early and took a cab back to the bus station and made our bus just in time. Unfortunately from that bus tour I could see that Ottawa deserved more than two hours of our time. It looked like a really great city so when I get the chance, I'll go back and see it properly.
