Why did the Moose cross the road?
TO DESTROY YOUR CAR!!!
Anyone planning on driving through Northern Ontario at night should do so cautiously, and avoid speeding. Moose and deer frequent the roads, and will cause much more damage to you, and your vehicle, than you will to them!! Pay attention to the signs that say "Night Danger" then give a distance.
Be safe, someone loves you!
Unless you are experienced outside or are with a guide or with a good map, becareful if you decide to venture out into the bush, One can get turned around quite quickly. Would you believe this photo was taken about 30 meters from my back door?
When you on the roads of Northern Ontario you should always be aware of the presence of Moose. These huge animals come out of the bush and sometimes can be seen in the ditches along the highway, or standing right in the middle of it. They have been known to cause a lot of damage to vehicles and many people have been killed from accidents. Be especially careful at night....I have had some close calls myself.

'Moose Crossing' is not a joke. Moose and deer often cross highways and rural roads - they can pop out suddenly and can be hard to see in the dark. Every year there are serious accidents from collisions with moose; they are large, powerful animals.

This is about money & exchanges. Especially if you are American. You can pay for things in Thunder Bay with American money, but the change they give you is in Canadian, AND the exchange is better if you go to a bank. Also try to watch that you don't bring too much back to America, becuase if you don't exchange it, no one wants it in northern Minnesota! =)
