High Park, Toronto
Visit High Park, both the park itself and the neighborhood. Nicest city park I have seen. Civil crowd, wonderful views especially of the water and gardens. Eastern half is primitive with good trails. Very accessible through subway system. Makes you believe that the UN is mislocated in NY.
Fondest memory: Architecture in residential communities. Everywhere. And especially the neatest little residential shopping district I've seen - in Forest Hill Village.
I would take them to High Park. Full of beautiful flowers and trees, a huge swimming pool, tennis courts, plenty of beautiful paths to explore...a wonderful place for families to relax and enjoy the great outdoors, and right in the city! There are too many other beautiful parks to mention.
Fondest memory: I miss the people most. They are so friendly and considerate. Never have I had so many wonderful experiences with such a friendly crowd.
