    Lake Ontario

by OlenaKyiv Written May 17, 2007

Favorite thing: The name of the lake is derived from ontari:io, a word meaning “great lake”. Indeed it is great and gorgeous. Unfortunately, our visit to the lake was accompanied with a heavy fog that settled above water, and it was almost impossible to see further than a couple of metres. Residents told us that it is rarely for the lake to have such fog. Well, we were the ones to see it.

Favorite thing: When tired of the big city take a trip to the north. Just an hour away there's serenity and open spaces. There's a multitude of national parks for hiking, biking, camping etc.
