    Yonge Street

Favorite thing: Yonge Street is to Toronto what Picadilly Circus is to London and Times Square is to New York. It's a great place to walk and wander admiring the many ads and neon lights on the buildings. It's also quite nice to go shopping !!!

Oh and the fact that it is the world's longest street should bementioned here as well.

    Yonge Street: facing Eaton Centre

Favorite thing: Yonge street is supposed to be the longest street in the world. It starts at Lake Ontario and goes north, cutting the city Toronto into two sides. It is not easy to describe the street because it is so long! It goes through downtown, residential areas, farmland etc. I chose to make a travelogue on this magnificent street. Favorite thing: Walk around downtown and YONGE STREET: the longest street in Toronto where EATON CENTRE is located (Subway - Dundas Station). Taking a walk from Bay to King Street is one luxury in life that I wish to relive every year. The Canadians are so lucky: fresh and crisp cool air!

Fondest memory: Canadians are very friendly and greet one another everywhere they go! As an Asian I felt more welcome here than anywhere else in the world! Thanks!!!

Favorite thing: It seems that most of Toronto seems to happen on Yonge Street. It's got shopping (Eaton Centre, Roots, etc), nightlife (including the Hard Rock Cafe), office buildings, and LOTS of people. I've heard that it's also one of the longest streets in the world. It seems like the world comes together on Yonge Street-take a walk and see for yourself.
