Everywhere you go in down town Toronto you will run into statues of "dressed up" Moose. They come in all different types of garb. The "Mounty Moose" in the picture is just outside the entrance to the CN tower.
Toronto is full of weird statues. There were some bronzy looking cows just laying around and some hare-dog looking things.
Quite fun but a little weird . . .

The animal MOOSE characterizes Canada. You can see lots of moose stuffed toys in souvenir shops or on T-shirts.
