This is place on Queen street that caters to the 20-30'ish crowd of failed art stars and wanna-be queen street wacko's. They have decent beer selection and the food is unknown to me as I've only drank here. The environment is cozy and makes for an ideal crawl spot on a queen street west trek of mayhem.
Favorite Dish:
Beer.
My husband and I went to Gypsy Co-op for the first time this past Friday when we went on a gallery crawl with a group of friends.
The food was phenomenal and highly original and the atmosphere is very fun too. The decor is sort of ecclectic, with lots of original artwork on display, plus lots of vintage movie posters.
The massive amount of candy along the front entrance might throw you at first, but don't let make you think they don't make serious food here. There are lots of great things to taste here.
Favorite Dish:
We had a delicious agnolotti pasta dish.
This is the place nobody ownes..whoever wants can run the place. You go there, you run the business and voila you're a restaurant, candy-store and cafe 'owner' just like that.
Favorite Dish:
Well, we bough one of those put-together-yourself balsa wood airplanes there which I absolutely loved!!
