Harvey's is a Canadian hamburger chain, in 8 of the provinces - not sure if they have made it into the US or not. They are owned by Cara which owns a number of other restaurant chains - Swiss Chalet, Milestones, among others. Some restaurants have drive-in facilities, or you can go into the restaurant and eat in the booths, or sometimes find them in food courts of shopping malls.
Harvey's burgers are grilled, and then you get to tell them what you want on the burger - they have a choice of mustard, relish, tomato ketchup/catsup, bbq sauce, mayonaise, chopped raw onions, tomato slices, lettuce, pickle slices, and hot peppers. Cheese and bacon are extras that you pay for. They have multiple types of burgers, and sizes, as well as chicken, and hot dogs. Harvey's was the first chain in Canada to offer Custom combos - your choice of fries, onion rings or garden salad and a drink to go with your burger/chicken/hotdog. Of course you can just order any of the components separately.
Favorite Dish:
I like the fact that they use real cheddar, not processed, cheese slices to go on their burgers, and they make a decent poutine. I like the orignal burger and the new Angus burger, and their onion rings.
They do have a good chocolate milk shake too!
Fast food done right. Harvey's makes a delicious burger that is cooked on a grill, not like the others. This is better quality fast food. They are all over the place and usually next to a Swiss Chalet. So you can get all sorts of crap.
Favorite Dish:
Bacon cheese burger, pooooootine, pepsi!
