Sushi On Bloor: Unagi Rocks!
Sushi on Bloor used to be my favorite though now I lean towards "New Generation" which is also on this same street.
I went in for lunch today on a whim and it was super. I must say I have always preferred Sushi on Bloor's salad; I have no idea what dressing they use (though you can purchase a tub of it for $5.00) but it is a great combination of citrus and sesame!
Service is always fairly fast and the plate is plentiful!
Favorite Dish: Lunch menu item- S7!
Spicey Honour Roll (8pc) and Unagi Roll (6pc).
$5.99 sushi lunch specials also come with miso soup, salad and green tea.
"Sushi On Bloor": Recommended Japanese Restaurant
This small japanese restaurant is located in the downtown core of the central bloor village. Best prices for the quality of food, fresh and well-prepared.
But apparently it's always busy on the weekends and lineups are out the door. So try to go early for dinner or avoid the weekends.
The service is average especially when they're very busy, you might need to ask at least twice in order to get ur refill on tea or water.
Favorite Dish: the items that ppl should try other than the basic bento boxes and sashami sets are the spider rolls, sushi pizza and the seafood salad
