    Town & Country Buffet

The Town & Country Buffet is located in old train wagons. This gives the restaurant its unique character.

You can choose from a great range of dishes in the buffet. They've got everything from meat and fish to vegetables or rice. But of course your fries and pasta can't be left out either. And then there is also an array of deserts.

The price for a buffet dinner in the weekend is $17,99 Cdn and 15,99 on weekdays. If you want to limit yourself to salads, soups and deserts, you'll spend 10,99. And of course it is all you can eat.

Buffet Plates - Don't Try to Name all that Food!

I've been here a couple of times in the past couple of months as a place to go with VT visitors to Toronto. Why? To begin with it is a great with a car, being down on the Queen's Quay and having free parking; the buffet offers something (I think) for everyone's tastes - unless you don't like buffets for whatever reason; the building is made from railway cars which is interesting too; and the price is reasonable for all you can eat. The 6 other VTers seemed to be happy with the choice.
I also like the size of the restaurant, and the fact that there is a seating area where smaller tables of people can be separated from groups that come in. We were there when 2 bus loads of students arrived, and our tables were far away from those kids. We were also glad that we made it there, and through our meal before the kids descended upon the buffet food area.

Favorite Dish: Hmmm well the dessert variety is excellent. Far better than a lot of buffet restaurants which seem to make dessert just a last minute "oh whatever" choice of stale brownies or jello or maybe ice cream.
I've liked the roasts, and the variety of meat. The salad bar is pretty good, and well I guess I just like the variety and selection of food.
