This mall is huge. Two anchors: Sears and The Bay. Two floors. Large food court and a cineplex (Only $7.50 to see a first run film!). My favorite mall. Lots of stores, lots of variety. Direct access to the mall from Don Mills station.
Fairview Mall is getting very popular, especially since the subway now stops there. As a result, I have seen an increase in the prices at Fairview. Still, prices are not "rediculous". Fairview Mall is a huge shopping mall in the Don Mills Road and Sheppard Avenue intersection at almost one million square feet. I frequently visit the shopping centre not only to shop but it is also a good meeting place for friends and business associates. There are too many to mention the coffee shops and food stalls lined up all around the centre. There is a variety of items to choose from the different stores like Grand & Toy, H&M, Gap, Roots Canada, Hallmark Cards, Laura Secord, and Starbucks just to name a few.
The mall is so convenient and very accessible to public transportation, a big free parking space is available to hundreds of cars for customers. One of the exits of the new Don Mills Subway is just a few steps to one of the malls entrances.
You will never be bored in this mall even if you stay long hours as there is also a Rainbow Cinema where you can spend your time. One early morning, I went to have a meeting and I can see people who come and do the walking within the mall. Well, I guess this is a good idea for older folks as the place is safer and they have the opportunity to meet new friends.
