With the largest concentration of high end designer fashions in Canada, Yorkdale has become the premiere shopping destination for Torontonians. It is a mega shopping centre anchored by two department stores, The Bay & Sears, though they serve less purpose here than in other malls. The mall is single level, but has over four sections to amuse the consumer, so you could spend at least 2 hours in here.
The mall has a nice interior setting, though the furniture arrangement always seem cluttered, & the crowds grow once it is in prime shopping hours.
Parking can prove to be a huge problem @ this mall, & even getting here from the highway ramp is a nuisance. They are always jammed & getting into the mall could take at least 10 minutes. The subway is located outside of the mall, but is connected by a long indoor ventilated pathway.
The service booth offers buggies if you brought children. Also available are tourist information & customer serivce.
