Scarborough Town Center: Shopping in Scarborough

    by fairy_dust Updated Nov 7, 2006 647 reviews

The Scarborough Town Centre is a shopping mall in Scarborough. At this mall, there are stores for clothing, shoes, beauty products, accessories, etc. I could have spent a whole day browsing and shopping but unfortunately I only had a few hours.

What to buy: I bought a pair of winter boots at Transit, a button-down shirt and sweater at Limited, a black lace shirt at Dynamite, a button-down shirt and sweater at H&M, a bottle of shower gel at Yves Rocher, and other beauty products at some booths in the hall. I also browsed through makeup at MAC and clothes at Jacob Connection and other stores.

What to buy: There is a Dollarama store in this shopping mall and everything is sold at $1 each... probably you can get some no frills souveniers for your friends back home :P

Scarborough Town Center: Shopping Centers: East Toronto

My second favorite place to shop. This is also a huge mall with several stores, and lots of variety. Wal-Mart, Sears and The Bay are anchors. There is also a cineplex and a food court. You may also want to check out P.J.'s Pet Center. Its the department store of pet supplies. They also have the largest selection of reptiles and exotic pets I have ever seen. As for the rest of the mall, I find that this is a very "nice-looking" shopping center. Its very modern in design, and the washrooms are usually very clean. There is a transit terminal nearby, so its easy to get to.

What to pay: Prices in this mall are about average for the area.
