Metro Toronto Zoo: a Bit Expensive, but very big

  • the zoo is a tad expensive, however it is a very big zoo. it has very good south east asia exhibits. its australian exhibits are also very good. it is hard to get lost, as there are many signs, and you get a good map at the entrance.
    best time to visit is october and november, when the animals are out and walking about, instead of lazing around.

  • this is a very good museum of ceramics. it has a very good collection, from all over the world: europe, asia, north america, south america. some of the highlights are: the Mesoamerican Ceramics collection (very well signed, and very informative), the modern cermaics collection (including a ceramic briefcase, that looks like it is made of leather), and the italian collection (very decorative plates).

    this is the Witches House. in summer, there are tours of the inside.

  • this zoo has it all! from endangered animals you never even heard of right now to the common road crossing squirl, this place has more animals then kids visting.

    there are several restraunts, employees, maps, and station full of information, that you will never get bored or lost.

    your kids will love the underwater exhibits where you can see animals underwater like polar bears and dolphins.

    this is deffinitly for the family day trip or a class fieldtrip, go and enjoy
