Hockey Hall of Fame: It Shoots It Scores
I'm not a Hockey Fan, but this is an excellant museum that will have some appeal to those with no sports interest...Hockey is such a part of the natural fiber of Canadian life that it is a good "local flavor" introduction

Hockey Hall of Fame: A Must for Sports Fans
If you're into sports, like I am, the Hockey Hall of Fame is a must see while in Toronto. It has all sorts of exhibits on the history of hockey, interactive games, etc. The highlight is going into this grand hall with a high ceiling, where all the greats are enshrined. Right in the middle is the Stanley Cup itself-you can pose with it too. One side tip: to really appreciate how Canadians love hockey, visit a sports bar when a game is on (hint: right now, the NHL is on strike-no games). I was in Toronto during the playoffs last year, watching and talking about the game with the locals. I realized how knowledgeable and passionate Canada is about hockey, and what a great game it is.

Hockey Hall of Fame: If you like ice hockey.....
Located on the northwest corner of Front and Yonge Streets, the Hockey Hall of Fame is centrally located, nearby Union Train Station. If you are interested in hockey and it's history, interactive displays and if you visit outside of the NHL playoffs you can see the Stanley Cup, then this is the venue for you. "Home of the Stanley Cup and the best of hockey, you can DO IT ALL...AT THE HALL. Guests can take shots at real-time goalies; stop the shots of Gretzky and Messier; call the play-by-play of some of hockey's greatest goals; view hockey flicks in one of our two theatres; get up close and personal with the Stanley Cup; explore the largest collection of hockey memorabilia in the world — all of this plus so much more!"

Hockey Hall of Fame: Come see the Holy Grail
Not just about the NHL, the Hockey Hall of Fame also features material about the minor leagues and the WHA. However, I'm sure for most, like myself, the draw was the NHL material, and the material on hand is vast and impressive. The Stanely Cup, both the current and the original, are kept here during the regular season...this is your best opportunity to touch the Cup! I also enjoyed the Ken Dryden displays, all the memorabilia, the film on the 72 series against the Soviets, and the gift shop!

Hockey Hall of Fame: Legends of Hockey
Of course being the huge hockey fan that I'm, I had to go to the Hockey Hall of Fame. The place is just incredible, and also the main home of the Stanley Cup. Tickets are really cheap, so if you have any interest, I suggest checking it out.

Hockey Hall of Fame: Hockey Hall of Fame
The Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto is a must see for the whole family. The Trivia section is pretty fun where you go against other visitors to see who knows their Gordie Howe's from their Wayne Gretzky's. The interactive shooting exhibits are cool as well and great for the younger kids and the adults who still think they are young! The entrance is not on the street so don't go in from outside, rather go into the mall there and go to the bottom floor and enter through there.

The Hockey Hall of Fame is a great place to visit for those who love sports. It's got some awesome stuff and really isn't limited to just Canada and the US. I remember seeing some exhibits on Sweden and Finland. The Hockey Hall of Fame has a lot of history to it. You might just catch a glimpse of the Stanley Cup or any of the other great awards that are given annually.

Hockey Hall of Fame: Canada's contribution to world sports
The Hockey Hall of Fame is as interesting to hockey fans as the Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH, USA is to football fans. It is an enduring tribute to the sportsmen who play the game and the great ones who are remembered in pictures and sculptures and plaques inside. The price was about $15 for the day pass. The main gallery has videos and electronic games where you can participate in simulated playoff action. There are halls and halls of pictures and plaques commemorating every great player and event in the games long history. There is the Stanley Cup; the hockey grail. Every team has a small nook where its best players and achievements are catalogued. There is a rink where you can imagine yourself as part of one of the winning teams. There is the obligatory gift shop where you can get all kinds of hockey stuff. We got our souvenier coffee mug to add to the home collection. This place takes about an hour to cover adequately. When it is busy (like on the weekends), you may have to wait in line to see some of the sections or try some of the electronics.
