    The Butterfly Conservatory, just a short drive from Niagra Falls is also a must see for nature loving tourists. The meandering pathway that winds through the conservatory is not very long (about 600 ft.) but it is a great place to view dozens of varieties of these incredible creatures.

    The Canadian Falls is approximately 52 metres(170 ft) high. The crestline is estimated to be 675 metres (2200ft) wide. The depth of the river at the base of the falls is actually higher than the falls itself. The river's depth is estimated at 56 metres (184 ft). The flow of water over the crestline of the falls is estimated at more than 168,000 cubic metres. The Canadian Falls was first described as "horseshoe" shaped in 1721

    The Niagara Falls are pretty impressive. I made a trip up there from NYC and loved it to see some nature again!

    The Niagara Falls are very nice. However, I had no idea that this area was so exploited for tourists. The Canadian site has the looks of Las Vegas, rather then the looks of a site where a wonder of nature can be seen... Have a look at my Niagara Pages

    This is another Niagara favourite it has to be the Maid of the Mist boat ride. You get a totally different perspective of the falls from this level - though if there is too much spray it can obscure your view.
