This heritage building is not that far from the new city hall and just walk a bit and you will reach the Campbell Museum and Canada Life Building as well. This building garnered attention for 170 years for its legal activity. It was named after William Osgoode, the first chief justice of the province of Ontario. It has an Italian Renaissance facade and surrounded by an iron gate with a well kept garden. It's nice to sit and relax here when tired from walking.
Osgoode Hall is another architectural marvelousness. Built in the 1800s, it's the home of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and the Superior Court Of Justice.
The Hall went through a series of expansions since it was built. But the the front facade remains essentially as it was in 1860.
