Aaaaah.. water!!! Yep, it goes right through it, and everyone gets soaking (and I mean SOAKING!) wet! Hahaha, great to watch though :-)) But don't stand too close to this ride, or you will get wet yourself! Oops... I should have known that before! After it has been through this fountain and goes up again, all the water is splashing around from the attraction into the non-suspecting crowd, hahaha, nice and refreshing though on a warm summer day :-)

    Canada's Wonderland: Canada's Wonderland.... 7th Portal
  • Tip Rating:

  • Hahaha, this is how you look when you go to the 7th Portal....But it is worth while though, because it is a great attraction! I thouroughly enjoyed it!!! So don't forget to go here when you are in Wonderland!

Stan Lee's 7th PortalTM is an action adventure 3-D ride simulator in the Action F/X Theatre. In Stan Lee's 7th PortalTM, riders will be a part of the hottest webstrip to hit the net. Stan Lee is the legendary co-creator of Spider-Man, X-Men and the Incredible Hulk.
Besides the 7th Portal there is another 3-D ride simulator called " Superstition". But I have to warn you that this one is not nearly as good as the 7th Portal! Still fun though, but I would choose to go to the 7th Portal instead.

It's hard to see in this picture, but this is the drop zone. Hahaha, I was too chicken to go into it, but my friends did... ahhhhhh! Hahaha, but they survived the ride, with a big smile on their faces :-))
It is a high tower, and when you are on top.... it just drops down with an amazing speed... eekkkks! Not for me!

Here are some facts of the Drop Zone :
On Drop Zone, riders sit on a high-speed transport lift that travels over 16 feet per second, 230 feet in the air. At the top of the tower, guests have but moments to take in the panoramic view of the Park before it registers that what goes up must come down. Free falling at more than 100km/h, 23 stories flash by as the ground races up and catches riders in a silent, smooth stop.

We went with a group of almost 20 people, and here are a few of them waiting anciously to get up in the air, and make the big drop :-))

Canada's Wonderland: Some of the rides at Wonderland... Vortex

The Vortex is one of the many rollercoaster in Wonderland, and the favourite one of my friends. Hahaha, yep, like I said... I am chicken... so I am not a rollercoaster fan! But it great to see them swoop by in high speed, and hear all the screams from the rollercoaster :-)
The best part seems to be this little bit, when the Vortex dives down and seems to go into the water.

Hockey Hall of Fame: Hockey Hall Of fame
  • Tip Rating:
  • I am a big hockey fan so I have decided to visit the Hockey hal of fame. First of all, the entrance cost is very expensive. Second, all inside is false and it's very short to visit.

    Casa Loma: Casa Loma
  • Tip Rating:
  • It's an artificial medieval style castle builded in the end of the 19th century. Personnally, this place is very expensive (10$ for a short visit) and it's too much touristic. Oh, It's real, you have a big gift shop, know you can imagine the place...

    Go during week days, soon.

Just walk in the streets around the castle, it's free and you can see a lot of old big house (victorian style)

CN Tower: One of those things you just have to do....
  • Tip Rating:
  • Its touristy but when your in Toronto for the first time you should really go to the top of the CN Tower. You can get a tacky picture like this one of the two guys in hats taken for a really bad souvineer. You will note that I had the courtesy to remove my hat for the pictures...lol. It also offers a breath taking view of Toronto and the surrounding area.

Canada's Wonderland: Holy crap I'm already out of cash!
  • Tip Rating:
  • Canada's Wonderland offers all the usual amusement park stuff that makes most people want to gag. It's sooo damn expensive just to get in and then you need to pay 80 billion dollars for a bottle of water...if you really want to ride a roller coaster then fine, do what you have to do, but if you are looking for some fun at a reasonable cost then this is not the place to do it.

Not only is it expensive, it's crowded and located north of the city so you have to drive there (and pay a bagillion for parking).

As a kid I'm sure I annoyed the hell out of my parents to go there, but damn, as an adult I just don't get it.

Ride a roller coaster and vomit!

    Go go-karting!

Okay, so it's pretty neat to be in the world's largest structure . . . for about a minute. Then the cold, clammy realisation hits you that you just paid money to be in a building. Personally, it was refuge from the bitter, cold rain outside for me. However, in retrospect, I should have just tucked into a shop or something.

The one real saving grace of the CN Tower is how freakishly Canadian it is. You can marvel at the solar power (CNT runs off of solar, with excess) display or the respectfully polite mural depicting the architecture-related triumphs of other nations. Also, there is a glass floor in one part of the tower. If you can get past the throngs of Japanese tourists and little kids, it's really fun to jump on. This girl was totally freaking her brothers and sisters out by screaming, "It could give way at any time!" and then pogo-ing it all over the floor.

The base of the CN Tower was the coolest thing I saw. There's lots of gigantic squirrels that hop around, and it's fun to watch bus loads of old folks go inside. Also, if you just have to say that you were in the world's largest structure, the gift shop is inside and accessible for free. I know it's a technicality, but it's better than feeling like an ass after shelling about over twenty bucks Canadian to stand in a building.
