on January 13, 2006The Grand River transit buses are a great way to get around Waterloo. If you are spending some time here, you can get day bus passes for $5.00. If you're going to live here, you can either buy a monthly pass or a yearly pass, with a redused rate if you're a senior, or a student.
There are at least 15 different bus lines in the city, with stops all over so you'll have to visit the website to find the schedule and maps for each line. I would aim to be at your stop at least 5-10 minutes early, because the bus drivers here have a tendency to come early (although they're not supposed to.)
