Windsor Nightlife

Windsor has a vivacious bar scene, centered on Ouellette Avenue between Wyandotte Street and the river. This 5-block strip is crammed with clubs, mostly due to the volume of American students taking advantage of Ontario's drinking age (19). On the weekend, people are everywhere, dressed up and trolling the strip, or in long lines snaking from club doors. A night out on the town won't even cost you that much - fierce competition means drinks are cheap!

For girls, dressy young clubwear. For guys, casual but neat outfits.

For an evening of superior Las Vegas style entertainment SHOWTIME LOUNGE at Casino Windsor, offers an intimate setting for a variety of shows. You'll hear celebrity impersonators singing classic chart toppers, watch Vegas-style revues or enjoy side-splitting comedy.
One of my favourite shows is the "Caverners" who do a great job as, you guessed it, the Beatles.

Windsor Trip

The singers were wonderful. They kept the people clapping and cherry. We loved this place. There is an upstairs and a downstairs. We got there to late for food. They have over 25 imported domestic beers.

In this university town it is sometimes hard to find a great club if you are over 25. It is sometimes equally harder to find somewhere that everyone is not in ball caps and runners. Dean Martini's is a classy fun club that appeals to the 25+crowd. The music is great the decor is very swanky and the drinks are well priced, I highly recommend this place. The location is good too it is right downtown and close to the casino.

No sneakers, no ball caps. Jeans are ok as long as they are nice ones. The attire is usually a little bit dressier than most pubs/clubs in Windsor.

This is a neat little club just off the main club strip. I went there on Friday night, when it's hosted by The Electric Front radio station. Expect LOUD industrial and EBM, with a mixed goth and mainstream crowd. The club layout is quite snazzy - mirrors and zebra stripes decorate the long dancefloor flanked by seating. The age range is a bit higher than some other clubs. I'd say patrons were mostly in their early twenties but extended up to 30 or so.

Wear vinyl and platforms if you wish, but anything black will do.

Canadian clubs, atleast that I have been to, are a little more classy and formal than the ones we have around here. No, you cannot wear your sweatpants and nascar t-shirt!

Dressier slacks or skirts or a flirty little dress for women, maybe some black pants and a button up shirt for guys. Jeans, sneakers and sweatpants - NO!

It's finally time for the ladies to get their turn!
Perfect for bachelorette parties, Danny's is the hot spot where the atmosphere is hot and the male dancers are even hotter!! This is an ALL nude male strip club. Prepare to drop a lot of cash however. Drinks are usually priced around $5-$8 Canadian and there IS a 2 drink minimum. People not drinking at their table have been known to get booted from the table to make room for people willing to spend money on beverages. Cover is $10 American or $15 Canadian. Lap dances are $5 Canadian, plus tip of course, and every dancer is well worth it. Bachelorette parties, birthdays and other special occasions can be well accommodated by staff if making reservations.

Dress to impress. Dressy or club attire is what you usually see. Jeans are permitted, but please dress them up. Remember this is a club with ALL female clientele, and exotic male dancers.
