At Windsor's beautiful Dieppe Gardens you will have a breathtaking view of THE DETROIT SKYLINE. This is perhaps the most photographed spot in downtown Windsor. If you get the chance, it is also very photogenic at sunset, as you see the sun go down behind the buildings.
for those of you traveling in and around the Detriot area, going to Canada is really easy. Driving or take the bus that runs into Canada is very easy.
Bars & Strip Clubs is what they have, I am not sure if there is anything else to do.
Right across the river you can see the Detroit skyline. Now if you thought it looks amazing during the day - come back at sunset, and be absolutely gobsmacked. It really looks so beautiful.
The best way to see it is by simply walking along the boulevard that runs next to the river.
If you at all venture to downtown Windsor, you will notice a skyline of tall office buildings. Some of my overseas visitors have assumed these to be a part of Windsor, but actually they belong to Detroit, Michigan, USA. They are surprised to learn that a river only 2kms wide separates Canada from the USA.
In Dieppe Gardens at the foot of Ouellete Avenue in downtown Windsor, you will have awesome views of the Detroit skyline, including the impressive Renaissance Center.
This is when darkness was setting in ,the colourful glows , the orange sky ,the Canada Geese always present ,very peaceful ,it makes you feel just being there.
I don't think this happens every evening .but we were lucky to be on the Windsor riverfront and witness the colourful sky above Detroit City.Come visit us and see it for your self .
