This wonderful place is a combination bee & honey museum, hands-on interpretive centre, gift shop, and food store. Most everything in the latter two is focused on honey! This includes ice-cream and even wine!
For a few bucks you should definitely partake in the presentation about bees and the production of honey. The beekeeper provides an interesting & funny presentation in both English & French. Both kids & adults will find it fascinating.
This is a cute little museum. There's a bit on the history of bees, some displays about beekeeping, some games for the kids, and a window onto the honey-wine production facilities. It's really a warm weather attraction, since then there are also live demonstrations about beekeeping.
Attached is a large shop full of honey products, including a wide variety of honey, candies, ice cream, and honey wine (for a small fee, you can sample the wines before buying). There's a dark chocolate candy filled with creamy honey that's fantastic.
Entrance to the museum is free, but you'll end up buying something. During the summer, it's open 7 days a week; during the winter, it's only open on the weekends.
